Goals of the Department of EEE

SHORT-TERM GOAL:

1. Continuous upgradation of curriculum aligns with the contemporary needs of stakeholders. 
2. Continuous upgradation of laboratories to support state-of-the-art technology.
3. Offer opportunities for faculty to stay updated with advancements in their field through participation in conferences, workshops, and research collaborations.
4. Promote faculty participation in pedagogical training to improve teaching effectiveness.
5. Broadened diverse partnerships with industry leaders to offer guest lectures, mentorship opportunities, and project collaborations.
6. Arrange internship placements and research opportunities for students with industry partners. 
7. Organize industry career fairs and networking events to connect students with potential employers.
8. Foster an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset in students. 

LONG-TERM GOAL:

1. Maintain the continuity of the accreditation by reputed and prestigious organizations. 
2. Establish a digital archive of study materials for easy access by teachers and students.
3. Ensure every student is assigned to the relevant laboratory to enhance their research skills.
4. Establish various research groups based on research domains and ensure the active participation of every faculty member in at least one group.
5. Secure funding for research projects that address critical industry challenges and contribute to advancements in the field.
6. Partner with local schools to encourage student interest in STEM fields.
7. Introduce a Master of Science program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering for the Department of EEE.
8. Ensure opportunities for students in the industry to fulfil the capstone project (FYDP) requirement of the B.Sc. in EEE program.
