Summary:

The keynote speaker highlighted the importance of Bangladesh National Building Code 2006 and 2020 to the students and highlighted the necessary symbols and load stimulation of single line diagrams as per the Bangladesh National Building Code. In addition, the rules related to the substation, especially the necessary provisions for the transformer and generator room, and the use of dry type and oil type transformers, ventilation of the substation room, the requirements of the earth continuity conductor and the protection of the motor were discussed.
