Seminar on “Mastering Leadership Excellence in Engineering Management” held at Premier University.
A special seminar titled “Mastering Leadership Excellence in Engineering Management” was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Premier University’s Hazari Lane campus. The seminar was held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor S. M. Nasrul Quadir as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by the Chairman of the Department, Tuton Chandra Mallik. The keynote speaker of the session was renowned corporate trainer and motivational speaker Engineer Mohammad Saidul Islam (Bappy).
In his address, the Chief Guest, Professor S. M. Nasrul Quadir, stated that future engineers should not only be proficient in technical knowledge but also possess leadership qualities, communication skills, and managerial competence. He added that such seminars play a vital role in guiding students to face real-world challenges.
Keynote speaker Engineer Mohammad Saidul Islam (Bappy) presented his paper on “Mastering Leadership Excellence in Engineering Management”, highlighting the importance of developing leadership in the technology sector, enhancing workplace efficiency, and strengthening communication and interpersonal skills for professional growth. His speech inspired students to nurture leadership mentality, a sense of responsibility, and teamwork spirit.
In his presidential address, Department Chairman Tuton Chandra Mallik stated that the EEE Department always strives to instill leadership, innovation, and ethical values in students along with academic knowledge. Today’s session has further reinforced that endeavor.
The seminar was conducted by Rahul Chowdhury, Lecturer of the EEE Department. Speeches were also delivered by Associate Professor Tania Noor of the Mathematics Department, Assistant Professor Samina Alam, and Lecturers Sarit Dhar, Asif Mohammad Siddiqi, Soumen Dutta, Abir Dhar, and Zaynab Binte Ahmed.
At the end of the event, guests and faculty members interacted with students and presented commemorative crests.
